Family Freak Show - Life With Siberian Huskies

Our newest family member - 8 week old Max. Max comes to us from Yukonwind Siberians and is a full brother of Ike, who's from an earlier litter.  Their mom is Rosebud and their dad is Blue.

Not having chosen a name we called him Max rather than "hey you" the day he came home with us and he picked it up. Smart little guy, comes to Max and only Max.

Chewy Milk Dud Cookies
Banana Bread Pudding

Banana Biscotti

Ingredients:

• 5 cups of white flour
• 1/4 cup of chopped peanuts
• 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
• 1 medium egg
• 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
• 1 1/2 cups of pureed banana
• 2 teaspoons of vanilla
• water

   Directions:

• Preheat oven to 325F
• Mix dry, then wet ingredients until lumpy
• Add water, one teaspoon at a time as needed
• Knead by hand on table until mixed thoroughly
• Form into logs approximately 2" - 2 1/2" high
• Flatten so that log is 6" - 7" wide by 1" high
• Place on non-stick baking sheets, bake approximately 30 - 40 minutes
• Remove and cool for 10 minutes
• Slice into 1/2" - 3/4" slices
• Place back on baking sheets and bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown
• Cool and store
