Family Freak Show - Life With Siberian Huskies

Our newest family member - 8 week old Max. Max comes to us from Yukonwind Siberians and is a full brother of Ike, who's from an earlier litter.  Their mom is Rosebud and their dad is Blue.

Not having chosen a name we called him Max rather than "hey you" the day he came home with us and he picked it up. Smart little guy, comes to Max and only Max.

Cheese Twisters

Ingredients:

• 2 1/3 cup of rice or wheat flour
• 1/4 cup of ground pumpkin seed
• 1/2 cup of grated cheese
• 2 large eggs
• 1/4 cup non-fat yogurt
• optional - add a 1/4 cup minced parsley if your dogs like it

Directions:

• Beat together in a large bowl, the eggs, and nonfat yogurt.
• Stir in remaining ingredients, some water may be needed to moisten.
• Once you have a nice working dough, roll it out to about 1/2 inch thickness, and cut into desired shapes, or make twists.
• Bake at 350F for 15 minutes until slightly golden brown on top.
• Turn off the oven and leave cookies in for a few hours to harden.
