Family Freak Show - Life With Siberian Huskies

Our newest family member - 8 week old Max. Max comes to us from Yukonwind Siberians and is a full brother of Ike, who's from an earlier litter.  Their mom is Rosebud and their dad is Blue.

Not having chosen a name we called him Max rather than "hey you" the day he came home with us and he picked it up. Smart little guy, comes to Max and only Max.

Dog-Gone Good Cookies

Ingredients:

• 3 1/2oz jar of liver or beef baby food
• 1/3 cup of wheat germ
• 2/3 cup of non-fat dry milk

   Directions:

• Mix baby food, wheat germ and dry milk. Add a little water if too thick.
• Drop by the tablespoon-full onto a greased cookie sheet.
• Bake in a preheated 350F oven for 12-15 minutes.
• Let cool before giving to your dog.
• Refrigerate in a closed container.

* This recipe is good for overweight dogs.
